Late last year we began working on a group order of Tahitian designed and built V1's to be sent to Hawaii. All the emails, phone calls and trip Tahiti have finally paid off:) The order is in production as I write and will be completed by mid June at the latest. There are 2 V3's and 6 V1's going to San Francisco, Seattle, Utah and L.A. and 8 V1's coming Hawaii. We expect the container to arrive in August and look forward to getting them in the water! What price range are we looking at when the V1's & V3's come to the US?

All the Va'a were pre-ordered and paid for. There MIGHT be one or two more in the container to be sold when they arrive. I'll know more after the ship sails. The price for any additional v1's in the container will be $3000 for polyester/fiberglass/hand lay and $5000 for epoxy/carbon/vacuumed. The v3's, if there is an extra one, will be $6000. If your interested in getting on the list for one of the extra Va'a let me know. Or we can also start taking names for the next container which will be coming in about 9 months, or sooner if there is enough demand. Prices are to Oahu.
Also this past weekend for the V1 Heiva Races Yohan Cronsteadt came 1st on his Fai3, Bruno was 3rd on his Fai3 and George Cronsteadt was 6th on his Fai3.

After nearly a year of working on getting the first order of Fai/Are/Timi/Tama Tahitian Designed and Built V1's plus the Fai V3…. i'm proud to say the container is packed, sitting on the dock in Tahiti waiting to be picked up!! See pics at the facebook page below

They should arrive (in a perfect world) on Oahu on September 17th. For about a week after the container is unloaded I will be available to demo the V1's and V3's on Ohau, before I ship the demo's to Maui, where they will be available by appointment. Once I have a better idea of when the container will clear customs I will post again with some times/locations/dates for people to come demo the V1's and V3's in Kailua. Can't wait to get them in the water!!
