Anyone ever thought of or tried taking an older oc1 that uses thumbscrews to attach the ama and iakos and converting it to use push pins? Any thoughts or ideas would be welcom.

Our club did a few of our older Hukis and it works great. I have a Fuze that's about 5-6 years old that is badly in need of conversion. I spoke to Karel about it and he was supposed to have someone in his shop call me, which unfortunately, didn't happen :(. I'm going to have the guy who works on our club boats do it for me. It can't be any worse than the thumbscrews that are totally stripped and have been re-tapped by a previous owner. I don't think it's all that difficult to do, and I'll report back when mine gets done...

Thanks. Keep me posted. I think with the right knowledge it would be easy. I look forward to some before and after pictures.
