I personally use Rain-X for the outside of the gopro case. It works great on keeping the water drops off of the case.
As far as fogging goes; there's a multitude of methods that you can use:
-Defogging strips
-Freezing the case to get all the moisture out
I personally turn the camera on before I close the case to let it heat up first. Once the camera is warm, I'll then close the case. Seems to help delay any fogging issues.
