This is an awesome race and fun OC experience, 3 days of racing this year. The Kiwis are great hosts and the Takapuna locals put on a very challenging 42k changeover (similar to Hamo) as well as OC1/OC2 Long course and Short course events. OC6 canoe hire is only $300 per crew, that's cheap racing folks. Saturday nite at the presentation Pub is a great place to discuss how you went in the race and watch the video playback from the day on a big projection screen.
These are our brothers in the spirit of ANZAC, let's give them our support and challenge them to come race on our soil.
It will be worth going just to see if Rocco makes it through the rock cutting without demolishing a Mahi Mahi OC6 - Ocean Sports Media will be there to capture the carnage.

Mean DNA, For sure you could find someone, i can post on Ausoutrigger forum if you like and see who has similar DNA as you. Let me know. It's only 24km and around 2 hours paddling.
