Hey, There is a xmas boat parade in my neighborhood and my 8 year old announced he wanted to join in the two man this year. Sounds great, but does anyone have any ideas on how to put lights on the boat safely and for not too much money?

Is the parade on the water (i.e. lake, bay or inlet) or on land through the neighborhood (i.e. on a trailer/vehicle)?

The new LED string of lights operate with little as 6 volts. Available at Home Depot and a 6 volt battery can be hooked up easily. 50 lights will cover a 15 ft strung out lenght of lights.
