A green and yellow Makia was stolen from the youth storage at Honokohau Harbor, Kona, Hawaii.
The thieves managed to take only the hull. If anyone has seen this canoe being taken from the harbor or has seen it, please let me know. A reward is being given for information that leads to its recovery. Mahalo!

Good news! The thief returned the Makia hull. It was found in another stall at the harbor halau.
The owner of the Makia has taken it out of the halau and locked it at a secure facility. Thank goodness.

Alot of itchy fingers at the HIPA Halau.
If anyone has canoes and equipment there, lock your hull and take home your ama and iakos.
