Yeah! It's tough for get permits at Kahana and at Kualoa because the campers always have priority. Maybe can still salvage the race by shortening it and start from Hukilau Beach in Laie? Hawaiian Reserves is the Konohiki for Laie Bay, and maybe they more receptive about canoe racing?
