It looks like 10 foot seas and cranking winds at our backs for tomorrows long course (Hawaii Kai to Magic Island). I just talked to Jon (from Kanaka Ikaika) and we were both excited for the terrific downwind conditions forcasted for the race. See you at the race briefing.

It was a fun day despite my lack of performance. I was the 63rd finisher averaging 8mph over the 11 mile course. My max speed was 16mph with the best 0.2 mile run averaging 10.55mph.
First place beat me by 17 minutes.
