August 11 race is cancelled but the OC1/OC2/surfski/SUP race is ON this Saturday! Registration is from 7:30am to 10am at the Manu halau (behind Surf N Sea in Haleiwa): http://goo.gl/maps/Fq40
SUP race starts at 11am, everyone else at 11:10am. We will have a shuttle to take your board/canoe up to Sunset beach, if needed. Call Moku Sanborn (386-6277) if you need any more info.

How you figure? The morning of this race, the water flat. Come mid morning, the water still flat. Then just before the SUPs start, the wind pick up, so by the time the OC-1s and surfskis start, the wind is blowing just right for lots of fun. Everybody who nevah race, miss out.
