As many may have already heard, Puni Freitas, was involved in a car accident this past wekend here in Kona and was medivac?d to O?ahu for medical attention. Mom, Dad and brother have been with Puni since the accident to help with Puni?s recovery. Puni is doing fine at this time. Myself and as well as Puni?s paddling brahdahs and canoe club, Kai ?Opua, would like to establish a donation tent here in Kona during Lili?uokalani weekend to help with the medical cost. Be on the lookout for a BIG poster sign that reads " PUNI " with ballons attached. Puni?s brother, Kalama, will fly back from O?ahu this weekend to collect monetary donations as well as share Puni?s progress. This will begin Friday afternoon at 1pm and continue through Sunday afternoon.
