Any GPS watch can do that. Garmin, is a good product but the most costly. Timex makes GPS with a better price point, but dont last long.

I've been using the Garmin 305 for the last couple of seasons for tracking milage/speed and love it.
The Garmin Connect website is great for uploading your data and viewing your runs, keeping a log of miles and sharing with the crew.

I recently just got a forerunner 310XT refurbished and its performed well so far ( only taken it out twice). There's no denying you have a big ole computer on your wrist, but it hasn't bothered me yet.

I haven't messed with it too much yet. Right now its measuring speed in minutes per mile, I think you can change to mph or even kilometers.

All in all its done well, specially for the price I got it for. I can find the link if someone wants it.
