Looking ahead to World Sprints: OC1 training

I'm looking ahead to the 2014 World Sprints in Rio and thinking I'd like to have an OC1 training program for this fall and winter that would help me build power and strength to compliment the OC6 paddling that we'll be doing.

Does anyone know of a ready made program for this type of training or have any tips? Do you think it'd be best for me to consult to personal trainer who could build a program for me specifically or would a generic program do the trick?

-Watch lots of videos of the Tahitian paddlers that have competed and take notes and record their times to compare.
-Get in a va'a (rudderless) often and in many different conditions so that you can account for the wind.
-Make sure your Molotov cocktail making skills are up to par to take part in the anti-government riots
