I just finished my first season of paddling and am hooked. I am in the market for an OC-1 that I can continue to learn with for a year or two. I am not looking to do any extreme boating. I am in need of getting good time on the water practicing. I am 6'1" and 220 lbs. If anyone can make a suggestion about a good OC-1 to look at, I'd really appreciate the advice. Likewise, if anyone has one for sale, I'd be interested as well. Mahalo.

look at a used Polaris. Where are you located. A Pahoa is a good used canoe too for someone your size. Probably around $1500. Great way to get started.
