Hey everyone,
I am looking for a good set of saddles that will help me transport my ama on my roof rack.
I would like to use a hard set of saddles over the foam blocks if possible.
Normally, I keep my ama inside my SUV when transporting it.
However... when a downwind comes along... carpools, canoes, etc. you guys know the fun mess... that is the reason I would like to transport my ama on my roof rack if possible.
Currently considering these... Thule Hydro-Glide 875XT
If you use a set of saddles for your roof rack to carry your ama.
Please do advise what you use, your rating / review on it, as well as the ~speed you drive at.
Pictures would help as well.

PVC pipe to the right size ( cut in half ) with foam glued in.
Lot's of different ways to attach to the roof racks.
I welded a 8mm rod to a large washer then covered it with a layer of foam.
Simply drilled a hole in the rack & bolted the PVC down.
