Maui Jim Waterman’s Series Race #3 SUP!!!!!
* Saturday March 8, 2014. 10:30 a.m. start. * Pre-registration: $28.00 at Foti Paddlesports store in Kapaa Quarry until Fri. March. 07, or $30.00 online at www.flpregister.com until midnight before race day.
* Late registration on race day: $35.00 * Check in at Manu o ke Kai Paddling site, Haleiwa: 8:00AM-9:30AM.
*Divisions: OC-6, OC-3, OC-2, OC-1, Surfski, SUP, Prone, V-1 (SUP 14’ and under is Waterman craft of the day)
*Long course: 8 miles –Start inside Haleiwa harbor. Go out to the channel to marker buoy (c. 1 mile out) and go right, towards Waimea for 2 – 3 miles and turn on the escort boat, return back to Halewia harbor via the channel buoy, and go back out to the far buoy one more time. Finish inside at Manu site.
*Short Course: 6 miles -Start inside Haleiwa harbor. Go out to the channel to marker buoy (c. 1 mile out) and go right, towards Waimea for 2 – 3 miles and turn on the escort boat, return back to inside Halewia harbor via the buoy and finish at Manu site.
