I am new to paddling and made a rookie mistake. I have suffered damage to the bottom of my OC1 as a result. Can anyone tell me where is a good place or person to fix it for me? I am on Oahu on the windward side but I can take it anywhere on the island for quality work.

you might want to contact John Martin with Hawaiian Designs. He is located in Kaneohe. Though he builds his own canoes his shop will repair any make or model.

Kalani Irvine operates out of John Martin's shop now. He does great work.
