I know this has been said many times, outrigger connection was kind enough to keep the mounting on their ama the same ever since they went to the iako mounting in the top. That means that any ama from an Outrigger connection boat should fit with only minor adjustments.
That being said, an ama from them is about $650. They seem to be hard to find( at least for me, I've been looking for some time, I have a viper with an ama that i've adapted, but would like an original), so another option i've explored was to use a pueo ama with custom iakos. The iakos are different diameters, but the folks at Kamanu said they could make iakos to work. A Pueo ama can be found for around $200 and about $250 for the iakos.
