I am trying to find out any and all information about this Wilder Canoe.
Does anyone know anything about this canoe? About the manufacturer?
Is is a decent canoe?
Will I be able to find outriggers for it?
I am moving to Oahu soon. Is it worth taking it with me if I have to pay a little extra to get it out there?

It was pretty much a Polaris with different deck. One of the better boats of its time

As for finding the Iakos and Ama for it, you might be able to find some used ones. Finding a decent used Wave Blade ama would be the hardest, but you could easily have the iakos made for it.

i've got an old buss up wave blade ama stored under my house. you can have it, New2Canoe. you'll just have to practice your repair skills on it.
or i'd suggest contacting Kaw Waa or Kamanu and see if they'll bend a set of iako for you and sell you a new ama.

The Wave Blade was the predesesor to the Polaris. Other way around. Good surfing hull.
