3/16 cotton rigging rope is what is used most on an OC6.
Island Paddler and Outrigger Connection (both on Oahu) are the two places that usually have them and can ship to you if not on Oahu.

If you live on the mainland you may prefer to mail order 3/16" 3 strand cotton rope from Knot and Rope Supply, it's only 7 cents a foot. The rigging rope we get here on the Big Island is closer to 5/32" and has has a little bit of synthetic mixed in with the cotton, I'm not sure why. The stuff from Knot and Rope Supply is 100% cotton, I have used it, it works great.

inner tube rubber works awesome.
or stainless steel ratchet straps.
or use the rope mentioned above if you'd like to learn and teach others proper rigging.
