USPS priority mail is fine. if you go online you can see how much it will be. just measure overall dims and/or weight and it'll give you a price on the spot. i've never had to use anything else.

I second USPS, for I just shipped (via Priority Mail) a two piece wing paddle to Upper New York State, which, due to the weekend, took five (5) days to deliver. For $20.00, including tracking and additional insurance that was pretty reasonable.
