I had a trusty Garmin Forerunner 101 for years but last season it finally succumbed to extreme old age and no longer turns on. Looking to get a new on for this season and beyond reading amazon reviews I was hoping someone in this forum would be able to offer some relevant any advice/recommendations. Any recommendations that won't cost more than a paddle are extremely welcome...

I really like the Garmin Dakota 20. It's small, waterproof and has a really good display. You can get a handlebar mount and have it set up pretty nice on your front iako.

Garmin Forerunner 310XT is $140 on Amazon right now. I got it for $114 a while back.
