I believe you are confusing the Pueo 1 with the extended footwells with a Pueo 2.
The extended footwells in the Pueo 1- allowed for taller paddlers and paddlers to move center of gravity forward in the canoe-this allowed canoe to drop into bumps a little easier. The extended footwells were in production about a year before switching to Pueo 2. Also may have been the reason Pueo 2 moved seat position up from Pueo 1.
Of course, I could be wrong and the Kamanu experts that run this site might correct me
Or maybe there is a Pueo 2 with an extended water line.
The original Pueo came with an extended cockpit version. And for the last few months we've been testing an extended waterline Pueo as well as forward cockpit variations. More info to come soon.
