Hi, When combining 2 oc6s to make an OC12, can any one recommend a distance between the hulls. Is there a standard, commonly used setting? I guess its a close as possible without paddles clashing?

Looking at a pair of marked 4x4's in our shed today, we have run them about 3.5 feet apart. In general I think people just buy 4x4's in whatever the Home Depot carries, probably 8', and rig them leaving a small stub on the outside. (Not very scientific but that's what we've done.) I don't think we toed them in or out. I remember it being fairly easy to steer with not too much turbulence between the hulls with this setup. Likely you've long since figured yours out. Take care!
