guys guys, watch the hype. It's gonna be like the segway and not be that impressive after everyone talks about it. Next time no more sneak previews. :) It's gonna be at least another few weeks or months before finish and put it online. I need to make sure I can get credit for my video class too. But yeah, the clip is pretty cool, 3 min to show the world how great paddling is.

what paddlers are in this movie to make it so great?

just some kids with too much spare time....

eh, it's not about who's in the video-- it's about the music in the video... ha, nah

ok, it's up. Check the video section.. it's big at 25 megs, but hey, I like high quality stuff. The clip is just from a few runs over winterbreak.. conditions weren't that good, but it was fun and we learned a lot about the equipment. Next time, we'll try not to have purple water. :)

You got to love Hawaiian winters, here in the great white north winter paddling is accompanied by freezing rain or on a good day by a mild case of chills......
Anyway, the video looks great and now i am really anxious to get up early tomorrow for a nice long paddle :-)...

nice video, got some cool clips there..underwater shot was cool and the last surfing shot too. ok, it was all good. The more outrigger video, the better.

we spent a whole battery--- like 2 hours-- just getting underwater shots. But turns out the camera would turn off everytime cause the pressure would compress the power button. so i think we were only left with that first one. we're only learning though -- plus it's kinda hard filming from a two man, with one guy jamming as hard as he can and keizo trying to keep the camera steady while not falling out -- we pretty much went the whole christmas break (our only time for filming) with like one day of wind (still was pretty flat though) and one sunny day, so our filming time was pretty limited. Over summer we should be able to make a sick video though, just go out on the most gnarly day and see what kind of footage can get.

and watching the footage before it was edited then watching it after--- it seemed like we had not a single good shot before, but then keizo made it into a pretty good two minute clip.. so anyone who has footage, no matter how junk it is, try and edit it and it could come out way better.

I can't seem to pull up the new Kauai Boys video on this web site. The computer just freezes. I tried a couple times yesturday and a few times today. It just doesn't work. My computer is pretty fast and I'm able to watch some of the other Videos like the Kauai challenge. Is anyone else having this problem?

no kidding, hrm. My only suggestion is to make sure you have the latest quicktime from because it seems to work on the two computers I tested it on. If it still doesn't work, let me know.

WinXP, slow computer, video worked fine, just watched it.
Good video guys, I enjoyed it.
Of course, now I got the itch to go for a paddle, and there is still ice on the water... Damn you!
