Opportunity for me to buy a Challenger OC-1 (carbon) in excellent condition, owner takes good care even varnished the iakos. Any advise ?

a fair chunk of change for a first generation outrigger.. however, might be worth it..
our club recently passed on two aging Challengers for over $500 apeice.. while heavy club layup , they were servicable and responsive to teh end!
varnished iakos? perty kewl.....

yes, it seems a little on the pricey side to me. Depends on where you are, but could probably find an old waveblade for that price. I've never used the canoe though, I just know its one of the first. Are the classics worth more yet? :D
