20 Beaches Event - Sydney

Sydney-based Outrigger Paddlers,

One of the best OC1/OC6 events of the year is on in one weeks time!

For the first year, an OUTRIGGING SPONSOR is supporting the event.

Canoe Innovations (03-8796-3100, canoeinnovations@bigpond.com) has

generously donated a high performance "Bracsa" carbon fibre OC1 blade. ALL

OC1 ENTRIES WILL GO INTO THE DRAW FOR THIS PRIZE. The winner must be present

at the presentation and must have competed in the race.

Last year, this event was well contested by OC1 paddlers, with some 30

competitors.

Date: Sunday 1st December 2002

Start Time: 9am

Course: Palm Beach to Shelley Beach (Manly) or reverse (down wind race) -

approx 26km

Entries Close: Wednesday 26st November 2002

Entry Fee: $40 per competitor / $150 per 6 person outrigger ( If you are not

affiliated with a NSW kayak/canoe club or surf lifesaving club, please add

$5 per person to the entry fee to cover all associated insurances.)

Late Entries: NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY

Race Registration: Race numbers and boat scrutineering will be open from

6:30am-8:30am

Prizes or medals for all categories.

Also, a lucky prize draw of an OZFLYTE RACING SKI will be drawn at

presentation. The winner must be present and must have competed in the race.
