THERE WAS ONLY 50TH STATES SEGMENT. THEY SHOWED THE GIRLS 18 AND NAPPY. THATS ABOUT IT.

I saw the 50 states segments on Sports Center. I'm not sure if that's all they showed or what. They showed some OC6 action from the day but not much. They had a profile piece on Nappy and had some OC1 footage of him, and Kekai Keahi of Kahana said some things about him. Then they talked about some old basketball game and the one armed surfer girl for a while..

I got the ESPN clip today. There is only footage of one race (and only about 0:20 of that race). There is a bunch of stuff about an old basketball game, a small segment on Nappy Napoleon, and a segment about the teenage surfer girl on Kaua'i that had her arm removed by a tiger shark. It show cases the island well for mainlanders, but the file size is huge (1.0 GB) and it's just not worth posting. I think Keizo did a much better job on the video he put together. If you want to see what the State races were really all about, watch that clip instead.
