Since the OC1 manufacturers are so bad at updating their websites (except for the prices), I figured this would be a good place to ask.
Does anyone know of any new OC1 designs coming up, or that are new but not posted on the manufacturers site.

All I can say is John P from Kaku designs is making small changes to the Kaimana for next year to improve the existing Kaimana. I bought one this year and the boat is awesome. Some minor tweaks to the deck, cockpit and Ama. Yes you are right builders rarely update their websites :-)

Jude at Huki has something up his sleeve.
He showed some new prototypes at the Tahoe race a few weeks ago and they must have performed very well. I don't know much more than that, except the new hull is shorter than the V1-Z, with more volume and incorporates a slide in iako/ama system. (This is new for Jude and Huki.) I have talked with Jude and he indicates that this kanu has really suprised everyone that has paddled it. Stay tuned!

Kaimana is $2800 full carbon vacuum bagged epoxy foam core. Mine weighs 22lbs.
