I’ve never tried a Pahoa, but I have a Stingray. I looked in archives but couldn’t find an answer to this specific question. If you have to race in flat water, which do you grab? Pahoa or Stingray and Why? Also, I know the Kaimana, Hurricane, and Pegasus are all good boats, but please help me with this question.

A little Late…Yes, but the Pahoa is a little faster than a Stingray on the flat…But if you can , try a Tahitain I have aTahitian rudderless V1 and a stingray….The latter feels like im paddlein’ in mud compaired to the V1..
A paddling master down here said the reasons are Less Rocker and a longer water line……Kia Ora Bro
The Pahoa I used was better than the stingray on the flat…only thing it made a funny creaking sound..

Hi all,
Well I have only been on a Pahoa once, it was ok but I only had it in the flats. I have since got a hold of a Singray, and I am luven it.
It is excellent in the ocean, on runners and I am working at it in the flats, it seems to like a longer stroke, with a kick at the back.
I wonder what kind of stroke Karel Jr uses on the Fusion and used on the Stingray, He seems to do well, HAHAHAHAHAHA
