I went by there the other day and it was close. When I called, their message says they will not be open again until Aug. 19. Is this true? Does anyone know what's going on or if this was just a mistake with the date. I'd appreciate any information.

What location did you go to? I visited them a couple of months ago and was told that they were moving.

I went to their new location on Hamakua Drive across Safeway. But when you call their phone number that's when the message says they will resume on August 19. Did they tell you where they were moving to? Did you go to the old site where Windwards Boats is located?

I was at the Hamakua Drive store on 1/27 and got a call from Marcella around the first week of Feb, to let me know when the canoes are going to be arriving in town. I have not spoke to any one since. Curious though.

Friend of mine was there today, friday feb 10 2006 to see karel about some repair work....Karel was in, working.
They are open ...too busy maybe to regularly man the store front. Forgot to ask about the phone message. practical joker loose in the shop?

Karel went away for a few days. He will be back at work on Monday. Don't know when Marcella will be at the shop, probably Monday also.
