my favorite race of the year is always the Kaua'i World Challenge-- and if you can find a partner i'd for sure come down for that. Otherwise... i've been hearing a lot about that maui to moloka'i race-- you get the fun of a channel crossing without the expense of the solo because you don't need an escort boat.
