I sent Felipe an email letting him know that you are trying to get in touch with him. As a rule, I don't give out anyone's email address without checking with them first. At least this way he knows you are trying to get in touch with him.
I don't believe Felipe is Brazilian, but I do believe he is Portuguese or at least speaks Portuguese. Hopefully, you two will be able to connect soon.

I am a paddler here in Brazil - Florianópolis City.
Married - 33 years old and one son
I was instructor of outrigger in last two years in the Kanaloa club.
Now I am competitor and trainer OC1canoe.
2 times second place in brazilian OC1 circuit behind the olÃmpic paddler Sebatian Quattrin.
Last paddler to be successful a Rio Vaa V1 2Km.
I am organizing a competition of 29km of OC1 solo - june 17.
And construct artisan paddles to outrigger.
I try to make my part to develop the sport for here
The bad one is that I don't know to speak english

I was able to reach Felipe and he said he'll be able to get in touch with you early next week. He's tied up right now preparing for this weekend's Molo Solo race, which is why he hasn't been able to respond before now.
