OK. lots of talk about which boat where, but I got a question...Those who have a hurricane, how do you rig your boat. Currently, I rig the ama as close as it will go to the hull, but am still having difficulty figuring out the optimal depth for iakos into ama. So let's hear some opinions. Aloha, J

Which version are you referring to? There are at least two versions.

with either boat rig the back at the top and front at the bottom...or anywhere in between but it is usually best to have the front almost all the way in...that way it doesn't dig into the water

I also put the front iako all the way down into the ama (#6 on the new Hurricanes, I think) and the back as far up as possible (#1). Happy Paddling! Alohers...
