I'm a veteran paddler who's new to this site. I grew up paddling on the Windward side of O'ahu, and after a long hiatus, have been paddling up here on Lake Washington with Sail Sand Point for about a year and a half. I just watched the slide-show and I just wanted to thank whoever is responsible for it and this site in general (Keizo I guess). The photos of paddlers in snow and ice and especially the wounded warrior section are truly inspirational. It blows my mind to see how much this sport/lifestyle has grown and spread throughout the world in recent years. Throughout my paddling life, people were constantly questioning why I devoted so much time and energy to a seemingly frivolous activity, and this site reminds me that I'm not alone in my zeal. To those who know, keep paddling-to the curious, catch da Feevah!!
