I paddle with one of the guys who works there with Maui. I will see him tomorrow (Wed) at practice, I will get the info, if I remember. Several guys from our club already have the wainui. So, hopefully they will see this thread and respond before me. I tell you, there's alot of talk about this boat on Kauai. The waiting list is now about a year long.

Just wanted to bring back this thread. I'm interested to hear what people think of this canoe.

i have one of his boats, awesome canoe, surfs very well, very good construction. solid boat. maui builds them in a little shop in puhi, kauai. he just had a baby, so he might be taking some time off, i'm not sure how long the wait is, but if your on the list, its worth the wait..
