Hypr vs. Original Canoes

I'm pretty new to the sport of outrigger. I am looking to purchase a new canoe and have noticed the hypr canoes that are the same as some of the popular canoes out there. Besides the name, are there any actual difference in the Hypr Canoes vs. the original manufacturer? If anyone has any information or opinions, please let me know. I would love to have some good information before I make a purchase. Thank you

Yup you did, but as new member here you deserve a better reception than what you got. It was a fair queston to ask, how were you to know.

If you type in Hypr in the search box above all will be revealled. Welcome and enjoy the forum.

To GINHAO, attempt with the search function, you find a thread approximately a month or two old, the connections to each thread have, which compared the Kanus with men and contrasted. I used the Search Engine and lumped all connections together am somewhere. Which concerns the German translations, I know that our German friends estimate it there out. However to seize I honoured, who you decided to waste more these real estates of the precious cyber area in order over worthless something. Wasn't there somewhat old proverb, which, if you something ignore anoying, it finally leaves? OH well, too late now.

GINHAO, try using the search feature, you'll find a thread about a month or two old that has links to every thread that compared and contrasted one man canoes. I used the search engine and lumped all the links together somewhere.

As for the german translations, I know our german buddies out there appreciate it. However, I am honored that you chose to waste more of this precious cyber space real estate to gripe about something worthless. Wasn't there some old adage that if you ignore something anoying, it will eventually go away? Oh well, too late now.

The Hypr canoes have to be better cause they are so damn shiny. If you see them around they are so much shinier than the original ones. So if I had to choose I would definitley go for Hyper.

hey ginhao
despite this being an overconversed subject, i will give u my treasured input. though the hypr boats are shiny (er) than the original designs u do sacrifice having the boat built in hawaii. the hypr boats are decently made in china and have some improvements vs. the originals, such as twist locks and no seams. but if u dont mind having that sacrificed in ur boat, then the price for a hypr is definitely worth it.

Aloha Brothers,
Thank you for your balanced response. GinHao please feel free to contact me directly at ianfoo@hypr.us and I'd be more than happy to point out the differences and upgrades. The HULLS are all identical to the originals, except we lowered the seat/cockpit/footwell area by 2 inches to improve the center of gravity and stability while flying the ama. Other than aesthetic differences in the deck, PPG base coat clear coat UV resistant paints and seam construction there are no performance differences. As you all know there have been all kinds of rumors etc. flying around and I thank Keizo for moderating insane ones. ALoha

We try our absolute best to give everyone the best value for their hard earned money. Thanks again for your patience.

Does HYPR make anything resembling a Hurricane? Same hull shape?
