seems like we have some serial offenders of this... i think there should be a policy that whoever does this should be banned. they're punks, and they know who they are.

It's called "the old possessive pronoun switcheroo" and it's the oldest game in the book. For example: It was originally OUR superferry. Then it became MY superferry. Everyone started calling it THE superferry. Some people briefly named it the super-EXPENSIVE-ferry. Now it's simply plain old superferry.
Where does it go from here? I think I heard someone on the news last night call it the STUPIDferry.
What are YOU gonna call it?

That superferry issue is stupid. Hey I don't see the granola white people protesting the huge and numerous boats that bring in their cars, food, and toilet paper to wipe their stupid assess. What the hell?

A good number of people in the water blocking the ferry were local kine. But I agree, harassing people in their cars is too much. I really don't have an opinion about the SF other than to say, I won't use it because it's too expensive and a waste of travel time.
I just thought it was funny that a bunch of surfers and swimmers decided to jump in the water and block the boat from coming into the harbor. And even more bazaar, it actually seemed to have influenced a decision to suspend service.

kdoors, yeah i know there were some local people too. The people that actually swam out to block the boat are stupid. What are they thinking? Hmm I'm going to swim out in from of a 200 foot boat and block them. In my mind this is evolution taking course.
You know, I think the superferry company is really smart. They are complying with every court order, they are avoiding every conflict possible, and so far have shown that they are a stand up company. I think the liability of someone getting hurt is not something the company wants to deal with.
kdoors, imagine being able to take your one-man on your car outer islands on the superferry? Or driving the trailer with 6 man canoes on it. Sooo much easier than barging.
