Seat one is number one, no doubt whatsoever. The rest I have to say "Uebung macht den Meister". (Practice makes masters)

Poopsey-

Nobody said cox, they said cox-on. Which is obviously way different then just plain old cox.

Rambo, sorry bout the silliness. I hadn't actually watched the video before the last post. i just watched it. I think jc9 is right. Cox-ON.

WOW and she has a good technique for sprints.Wonder if the east Germans are going to enter any teams in the worlds. If its like any other sport they will break down the stroke into 50 parts and perfect it

Just in case nobody noticed, that was a pretty cool looking OC6 too and the buildings in the background are very futuristic.

HKpadder welcome to the sarcastic bastard club. You are now an honorary member. I am proud to have you in our club.

I guess I'll NEVER be a good seat one....

Rambo, I did have one problem with the video, why did they show the men? I mean why?

Wait... you guys mean there was a boat in that video?

#14 Tue, 11/06/2007 - 9:04pm

I believe the canoe is a DDB Otamig Va'a Type 1 and weighs 130kg

I love it's big brother the Proto Va'a especially the bow.

Hey Rambo, did you check out their OC1's?
7.3m..... Would be interested to know if anyone has tried them, and how they compare to the shorter "conventional" designs like Hurricane, Pegasus, Vantage etc...

And yep, am loving the nose on the OC6 - reminds me of some of the newer spec surfskis... (a mini wave deflector)..

Whether or not theres a boat in the video, Sofia floats my boat...

#17 Wed, 11/07/2007 - 7:53am

Gonna put an eye out with that thing (the boat).

I already put our stroke seat on alert! Re: the boat, it doesn't look like it has much rocker at all...primarily a flat water canoe I guess..
