i was just wondering where i could find a youth team, as i am under 18, to paddle with. in or near san francisco. The only sport relatively close to outrigger is dragonboat and i do that but its starting to get dull. but outrigger looks like so much fun. any teams out there that accepts youth? thanks

Kilohana OCC has a keiki program as well as a novice program. depending on how young you are we could fit you into something. take a look at the website http://www.kilohanaocc.org or you can email me back for more info.

Hui Wa’a Canoe and Kayak in Redwood City has a Dragon Boat and Outrigger Canoe Program. We take young adults into our Novice or Open program - depending on your capabilities.
We have an active 19 and under regatta and LD group during the regular season. This time of the year we mix everyone in the same canoe. Bring 5 more friends and I’ll steer.
