New Years Day Paddle

Just got in from an hour and a quarter OC6 paddle. 55 degrees. Wind blowing a steady 20 knots. Water cold enough to numb your hands. Can't wait till next week when we'll be in Lanikai.
A Happy New Year to all.

Three hours on lake Washington, air 40 water 45ish, hands numb the whole time, feet come back to life about two hours after you're out of the water even with 37 different pieces of neoprene on. The best part is changing out of your wet gear in the freezing cold matson container after. It's even better when you forget your shoes and have to walk with your numb, frozen feet back to your car. And even worse was watching my Rainbows, I mean Warriors, get pounded by Georgia later!
