RotatorCam

Just when you thought Rambo had done it all ... here's the latest Cam Tool, .. yes it's RotatorCam

Now i can rotate any of my Cams 360 degrees with remote control and capture different angles from the same position, all while still paddling. Almost finished the GPSCam too, which will feature the Garmin GPS screen as a picture in picture somewhere on the main video footage.

Watch this small video of the RotatorCam in action, movement will be controlled by a small foot lever between the Peggie peddles, just slide either foot sideways without leaving the peddles. Cool

Jc, of course all my designs are muli-functional ... Would it pass through a balloon opening ..?? ... You bettcha.

Now you have made public my construction method, all the unused fun toys in the side table drawers will find a new purpose, resurrected as camera pan devices.

Now that's what i call recycling.

Cheers Rambo

That's wild.

How do you know it's pointing where you want it? Anyway to remotely view what it's aiming at? Very cool effort.

I remember that one video you had where the camera was aiming backwards. And there you were happily paddling along, not knowing that this huge wave was building behind you. I laughed so hard (at your expense - sorry, but it was funny!) when the wave totally pounded you and your boat.

With this new attachment I'm wondering if you'll have time to turn the camera to see the expression on your face half a second before you get hit.

I'll be waiting for the preview screening. Thanks for all your efforts, they keep me amused all winter long.

The Bullet Cam has 137 degree vision (same as human eye) so aiming is no problem. But if i do need to aim, the Pelican waterproof case that the recorder is housed in has a clear window to see the LCD screen. On the Peggie it's in view on the front bungee, in the OC6 it's taped to the back of seat 5 so i can see it.

Helmet Cam footage is too jerky for my liking.

The little Pentax Cam will shoot 1400 still photos automatically at a set interval, till the SD card is full, just delete the ones you don't want. It also shoots good quality video, about 1hr.

Should have some good stuff over the next few weeks. Who knows might even get footage of the CHINES in action ??? Haahaaa.

Cheers Rambo
