My wife and I are going to be in Maui from February 25 to March 7.
We're looking to train while we're there. As with all my "looking to paddle" posts, I'm prepared to bribe with beer if requested. We're both dedicated paddlers - I've been paddling for more than 10 years, my wife for 4 years.
We'd also be interested in racing the Son'z Relay on March 1st if anyone was looking. I thought we could do the co-ed OC-2 and "partner swap" (I'm not thinking dirty here, we'd just need one of us to hang out with our son on-shore). Or I'd be willing to ditch my wife in a heartbeat if another opportunity came to race solo.

Just a reminder that I'm still looking for an opportunity to race in the Son'z Relay on March 1. If you just happened to be thinking, "Gee, our relay crew could sure use a pasty-pale Canadian paddler!" then this is your lucky day! I have been ripping it up regularly on a paddling machine (leaving huge pools of sweat!) while the lake I train on remains frozen solid.
And thanks again to all those with offers of boats to paddle, or practices to join. The outrigger community rocks! Now just look for some gangly white guy limping across the hot sand to a practice near you!
