I have no knowledge about the history of race organization for OC paddling on Oahu.
PA'A is organizing an OC1 World Championship.
At the same time, Mark writes that Epic is keeping things unchanged, with the support of Kanaka Ikaika.
What does that mean ?
Does Kanaka Ikaika support the OC efforts of PA'A; and the surfski effort of Epic ? Or is Kanaka Ikaika supporting the OC event on Epic's race date and going to proclaim their own OC World Champion, iow are we going to have two World Champions this year ?
One other question I have, but of course cannot ask here on the forum: how can someone sell a World Championship ? Or reverse, how can you buy something, own something like that ?

Don King got a hold of it all. The unification bout, that would be our 3rd "World Championship" will be held later in the year with Don announcing the date only a week before the race.
The motto will be "Two out of Three"
