Here`s 3 of my favorites of my favorite paddlers. Notice the manatee under the canoe in the middle picture. The photos were taken in Florida , the one with the manatee was taken at Crystal river where hundreds if not thousands of manatees spend the Winter in the warm fresh water.

Very hard to chose. I attached 3. 1st one is MOLO '07...just a cool shot (i'm in the red hat). 2nd is a funeral for one of our club members...shows the diversity and age spread of our great sport. and last is my 1st race ever...12 and under sprints, 1980, kailua beach (1st place by a ton!). Check the paddle length and technique.
Peace,
J

How do you put pics on the comment section? I know how to use the attachment version, I need to know what tags to put on the photo link.

jc9, if you don't paddle much, how did you get those muscular forearms?

#8 Sat, 02/02/2008 - 8:11am

Jim-
See previous thread about going to Hula's.

Tikimon-
1) See the hyperlink that says markdown syntax under the comment window on the Ocpaddler posting page. Click it.
2) Then click markdown documentation in the next page.
3) Then under the span elements section choose images.
4) There you will see a line of code to insert in your message. Follow the instructions on the page from there. I'm too lazy to type any more.

By necessity, my rippling forearms only work for 30 seconds or so.

This is a cool photo...back in the day (only three years ago)...when we had a men's program of five, borrowing whoever we could find to fill a seat...plus, that ferry shot is so cool.

I'd guess just under thirty. That's including about 15 dragon boat dudes who just joined this winter...I can see it now at the 2008 Gorge race(see pic)...kidding guys.

Since we're talking all things German, the guy sitting four in the ferry picture once had 30 pts. and 15 rebs. against a young Dirk Nowitzski in a German pro league. Of course, Dirk scored 48! The same guy also finished fifth in the Hoe w/ the Mike Field era Beachboys.
