Hi guys,
I’m a menehune paddler and weigh around a buck thirty dripping wet.
I was offered to buy a Nai’a Iki, but would like to know what others think about canoes for small paddlers.
A Hurricane? Kaimana?
Thanks for your advice!

You’ll be shredding in no time with a Hurricane.

Pegasus if you like to surf, Hurricane for mostly flat water. Try them both to see what you feel best in. Where do you mostly paddle?

Thanks for the valuable information and suggestions guys!
I mostly paddle in flat water to small swells and windchop.
Both sound like nice canoes and probably glide nice I assume.
Thanks again guys.

Would be nice to have access to Kaimana’s and Kainalu’s in Australia also, maybe Kamnanu Composites can find a way of shipping world wide. Something tells me they are going to be busy for while though with back orders in Hawaii.

Thank you Rambo and gang for your excellent input and advice!
Sounds like the Pegasus or Hurricane are the ones to try.
You made deciding a lot easier for me!
Thanks again!

I would seriously consider a Kainalu in this category now that Johnny P. has production ramping up in Cali and Kamanu Composites is building in Hawaii.
