Not sure of anything in the Cocoa area, but you might want to check the Longboard House or Ron Jon Surf Shop. They are in that area and will have knowledge of any paddling up there. Florida is no Hawaii when it comes to paddling, but maybe you can start something up there. Sounds like you are passionate about the sport, so maybe you can help it catch on.

Nothing that I know of any time soon. It seems that with the economy there has not been much in the way of events. I have been paddling lots solo or with a friend on a surfski, but no events.
Lots of fun downwind runs all by my self!
