I'm a larger type guy(200+lb) and I want to surf and fish off a oc 1. Haven't done it, but currently I'm doing SUP. Just trying to broaden my horizons. BTW, I'm on Maui.

Try an older Polaris, Arctaurus or Vantage, Kolea-something like that. You want a stable canoe, Call Kai Bartlett who has caught 50+ lb Ulua, and good size Uku trolling in Maui waters.
