just wanted to give everybody a heads up that on March 23 at Kailua Beach Park there will be a one man race in Tahitian V1’s. 20 brand new canoes are arriving from Papeete next week and will be awaiting all you guys/girls who want to come paddle in the Kainalu Easter Challenge. the goal is to bring a little tahitian flavor to oahu and draw all the great paddlers from the island to compete in the rudderless. if you have a rudderless you can definitely bring it and race. we have $2,000 in purse money and other prizes from our sponsors. so it should be a very cool event. i will post all the details within the next 48 hours…
