That Rambo guy seems to know what he's doing in that department. If you're not on O'ahu, check out Rambo's locker for a few good DIY ideas.
If you ARE on O'ahu, just go see Clay.

I'm in so cal too and would like to have a professional help contact in case I break something.

So far, the fusion is amazingly ding resistant.

Some guy told me "dont carry your boat by the seam, it cannot be repaired if the seam goes" I guess the seam is where the two halves of the boat are glued together...I dont understand how you can carry the boat "on the seam" unless he mean pinch grip carrying it by the gunnel area...

Two options I found for so cal

1)I own and operate a business called BoatAid. I used to build Oc1’s (over 150) and am the only certfied composite repair tech in So Cal. My work is second to none. I service boats from San Diego to Santa Barbara. You can reach me at 949-244-5029.
Cheers

2) Call Jude at Huki Canoes, His guys do great work www.huki.com

Thanks for the replys. Boataid, I live in corona. My canoe was dropped on the rudder. It pushed the rudder up into the canoe and cracked the rudder as well as bent the metal part of the rudder. Is this something you or anybody can fix? Is it normal for the boats to be so delicate that they break this easily? Could this be a manufacturers defect?
