When you get beat, its because the other paddler had a faster canoe. When you win its because you're a better paddler.

Non sequitur. Canoe races are not routinely won by .00 or .000 seconds. Who can say that at that level, a concious or subconcious edge with regard to a swimmer's equipment will not have an effect on the swimmer performance?

i think that is the swimsuit that was tested in wind tunnels at NASA.
